To be successful in this position, you will have the following

- Experience in creative proposal writing
- Previously used CRM databases
- Great attention to detail
- Car and license
- Tertiary qualification is preferred
- A working knowledge of speakers and corporate conferencing 
- A broad general knowledge and familiarity with sporting, media and business
 personalities.

  • Telephone sales

  • Negotiation skills.  You will be working with both clients and presenters on a daily basis
  • Prospecting and lead generation from current database using the phone or face to face at exhibitions and showcases

  • Preparation of proposals for clients
  • Contracts

 

Research Skills

  • Constantly updating industry knowledge via industry magazines, Speaker and Bureau websites, television shows, radio shows, newspapers and business magazines
  • Locating specific speakers as requested
  • Offering a wide and appropriate range of speakers for your client’s brief

 

Creativity Skills

  • Individually: To be able to come up with new and fresh ideas for your clients
  • As part of a team: For marketing ideas and ideas for other team members’ proposals.
