A co-founder of Fat Prophets, Angus has a wealth of experience acquired over more than a decade in both domestic and international financial markets.
Angus' investment track record began in 1982 at the young age of 13. In 1986 he received a "highly commended" award from the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce for increasing an initial investment of $200 to $35,000 on the world stock markets.
During his career, Angus has worked as a money market trader in New Zealand, a financial consultant in the United Kingdom and in stock broking in Australia and the United States.
In Australia, Angus spent nearly four years with Bankers Trust as a senior stockbroker, before moving to JB Were in July 1999. Angus left JB Were in June 2000 to co-found Fat Prophets.
Majoring in Economics, Angus completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Otago University, New Zealand in 1990. He is also a member of the Securities Institute of Australia having qualified for a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment in 1999, and a candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.

Founded in Australia during June 2000, Fat Prophets is owned and operated by financial markets professionals. After being successfully launched in Australia, the company's horizons broadened during 2003 with the addition of Fat Prophets Mining and Fat Prophets United Kingdom.
Fat Prophets today has 10,000 subscribers in Australia, the United Kingdom. Fat Prophets Funds Management also floated a listed investment company pm the ASX in April this year after successfully raising $33 million.
