Fashion identity Charlotte Dawson left New Zealand at the age of 16, beginning an international modelling career that lasted a decade. After leaving the catwalks of Europe and the Ford Model Agency in New York, she relocated to Australia where she became a familiar face on the local fashion scene.

Charlotte began her media career as a television fashion journalist for the Nine Network, reporting for the 'Today Show' for five years. During this time she filed segments in Australia and overseas covering mainly fashion and beauty stories. She also made appearances on 'Wide World of Sports', 'A Current Affair', 'Looking Good' and 'Nightline' .She was also appointed Fashion and Beauty Director of 'Womans Day' Magazine. After moving over to take Style Director position at 'New Idea' she was approached to do fashion/style/celebrity reporting for Network Tens 'E News'. In the final series of 'E News' she hosted her own celebrity segment called 'What's Going On?'. During this time she worked on Network Tens 'Beauty and the Beast' as a regular panellist and had a weekly fashion segment on 'Good Morning Australia'.

Charlotte is a regular on the speaking circuit, hosting many fashion and beauty industry events. She continues to work as a freelance fashion and beauty journalist. Considering her background and experience, Charlotte is often featured in Australia's top fashion publications for fashion/beauty/social comment or features. She is fashion designer Peter Morrissey's muse and appeared in his winter 2000 advertising campaign. She also performed in the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.

Charlotte can be seen regularly as a judge on Foxtel's popular Australia's Next Top Model and as host of The Contender Australia.

Charlotte is patron for 'KWAIDS' (Kids living with HIV Aids) and featured in the national 'World Aids Day' 2001 campaign alongside a group of prominent Australians. She also launched the 'Quit-a-thon' campaign with the Cancer Council.

Charlotte has been Master of Ceremonies for companies such as: Ralph Lauren, Australian Vogue, FHM, Tag Heuer, David Jones, Schwartzkopf, Orange Mobile Network, Myer, Grace Bros, Wella, Yardley, Courturiers Ball, Spin Fashion Events, Australian Fashion Industry Awards, Trade New Zealand, Australian Jockey Club, Woman's Day, New Idea, Australian Rugby Union, Cancer Council, Viviens Model Management, FHM Grooming Awards, NRL, Moet Chandon, Westfield, Hair Expo, Bonds, Tontine, Aids Trust of Australia, David Jones.

Charlotte has been nominated 'favorite female personality' at the 2008 Astra Awards.
