Discovered in 1993 while shopping at Sydney's Pitt Street Mall, Chloe Maxwell became an instant success as a model with her vibrant personality and striking beauty. She was soon shooting prestigious campaigns for Esprit and Vogue.
Following her successful Australian debut, Chloe launched her international career in Paris in 1995 when she appeared on the French television program 'Avant Minuit' with Christian Lacroix and Vivien Westwood. This was also the year she made her catwalk debut at the Parisian Collection Shows.
Travelling on to the UK, Chloe then featured in editorial for Britain's cutting edge Sky and Face magazines as one of Australia's leading models. Anna Molinari flew Chloe to Milan for her show followed by appearances in the Blue Marine Collection Show with supermodels Naomi Campbell and Eva Herzegova. The avant-garde designer Comme des Garcons spotted Chloe on the catwalks and booked her immediately for his forthcoming collection show.
After a highly successful stint on the international circuit Chloe returned to Australia in 1996 where she featured in editorial for Australian magazines Elle, Marie Claire, Juice and Vogue and New Zealand's Pavement magazine.
Shortly after a brief visit to Japan, Chloe secured television commercials for leading Japanese clients including Honda and Toshiba and featured in the main fashion pages of Japanese Marie Claire.
In 1999 Chloe appeared on the catwalks of Hong Kong Fashion Week and Mercedes Australian Fashion Week where she was one of the most in demand models to walk the runway. This was also the year she won the national Jeans West campaign.
Chloe's incredible screen presence saw her acting career launched in 2000. Appearances to date include: Fox 8, Good News Week, The Big Schmooze, E! News, Burke's Backyard, Arena, Good News Week Debate, Roy and HG and Good Morning Australia. She has presented shows including Jabba's Morning Glory, Peak Hour, Whatuwant and Stylebyte. She has acted in short films by Alex Proyas, Joe Villanti, Lisa Beedham and Mystery Clock Cinema, in the telemovie Ihaka Blunt Instrument and the feature film Sisters In Blood. Chloe has appeared on 2Day FM with Jackie O and recently featured in television commercials for Ray Ban sunglasses (screened in the USA & Europe) and LA Cola. She also writes the 'You've Got Femail' column for Saturday's Daily Telegraph.
In 2003, Chloe was the face of World Vision's 40 Hour Famine. She travelled to Ethiopia to make a television documentary that was later aired on Channel Ten.
