During his time as host of Channel 9's Money program Paul Clitheroe enjoyed huge success in TV ratings, and established himself as Australia's most respected and best known money and finance expert, simply by speaking to people in a language that they understood.

Paul Clitheroe continues to present Money reports and his Money tips run daily on over 80 radio stations. He is Chief Commentator of Money magazine and his books have sold over 750,000 copies, a rare achievement for an Australian non-fiction author. Paul believes that "building up your wealth from basically nothing is hard work but, once you've got some, the old saying 'money makes money' is true."

In 1983 together with four partners, Paul Clitheroe founded IPAC securities, one of Australia and New Zealand's best known research and investment houses. Starting in a one room serviced office with capital contributions of $20,000, today IPAC manages over $8 billion and is a market leader in the field of portfolio management and financial advice.

Paul Clitheroe was Vice President of the Financial Planning Association in 1992 and its' President in 1993.

Prior to helping to establish Money in 1993, Paul Clitheroe had appeared on all five Australian television networks in his capacity as 'finance expert' for their news and current affairs programs. He also became one of Australia's early radio investment talk-show personalities after appearing on Sydney's 2BL in 1983. He has since acted as an 'on-air' consultant for all of Sydney's major AM radio stations.

Paul Clitheroe has been a professional public speaker since 1985 and has given keynote talks at hundreds of conferences in Australia, New Zealand, America and Europe. In 1995, 1996 and 1997, he was presented with the award for "Most Outstanding Individual Contribution to Financial Journalism" by the Investment Funds Association.

Paul has a strong interest in charitable giving and in 2003 established The Clitheroe Foundation to provide support for children's health and the arts. Paul donates his salary, speaking fees and other media earnings to this Foundation.
