Adrian Rainey is a world-leading authority on the power of commitment. Whatever it takes commitment can be your greatest strength and your biggest weakness. These days, it guides his success. As a youngster, it nearly ruined him.
He played professional rugby league at 18 years of age and was crowned rookie of the year. At 19 years of age, he tested positive for a performance enhancing substance. Banned from playing for two years, he worked and trained alone. Returning two years later, he played in a grand final squad with the Parramatta Eels. As if he had never been away from the game, he reestablished his early momentum. Soon an opportunity to move to England and play for Hull KR was given to him and he took it.
At the age of 25, Back in Australia playing for the Bulldogs. He decided to retire from playing professional rugby league. The thought of investing boundless energy into business excited him to much. He opened his first business and started training people outdoors.Very quickly he moved into a premises and went from no income to turning over black belt income in less than 6 months. Within 18 months he was managing up to 12 staff and turning over a high six figure income. He then expanded his network to include a consumer education service. Today it helps 100's of people all over Australia through a learning, development and mentoring program.
After starting out his career in the National Rugby League and overcoming a major setback to return to this elite level and then becoming a successful entrepreneur, he most recently authored his first pocket book, Blood In The Water: The Power Of Commitment.
