Andrew O'Keefe is the host of three top-rating programmes for the Seven Network: Deal or No Deal, Weekend Sunrise, and The Rich List. Between the three shows, he entertains around 2.5 million Australians weekly.
Andrew was trained as a lawyer - following in the footsteps of his father, the esteemed former Supreme Court judge Barry O'Keefe. But entertainment was also in his blood - his uncle was Australian rock and roll legend Johnny O'Keefe.
Believe it or not, Andrew also studied as a classical singer. In addition to singing he also had a knack for comedy, which took him to Canada where, along with a friend he won the Improv World Championships.
His television career started with the sketch comedy Big Bite. Andrew also co-hosted the Logie Awards in 2005 and the tri-network Tsunami appeal, Reach out to Asia.
These days, Andrew hosts the hugely popular Deal or No Deal. He's also Chairman of White Ribbon Day (the UN International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women).
As a master of ceremonies, facilitator, compere and presenter, Andrew has earned a reputation for his sharp wit and unique presentation style. He has worked for many of the largest corporations in Australia, and hosted some of the country's most prestigious charity events. At last year's Gold Dinner in Sydney, he helped raise over $3.1 million for the Children's Hospital in one night!
He is passionate about art, music, social justice and politics, and of course about his wife and two boys with whom he lives in Sydney.
