Sales & Events Administrator/Coordinator

The events industry is one of the most fast paced industries around. It takes a certain breed of dynamic, hard working and remotely crazy individuals to maintain the pace required to succeed. This company has developed an amazing, passionate team and now the search begins for their next superstar addition.

Already a well established and in demand service provider within the events space, my client's company is forever expanding into new and exciting arenas. They continue to cement their excellent reputation through their unique vision, hard work and strong client service ethic.

They're in need of a multi-tasking genius to join their incredible team. Someone who isn't afraid of a challenge and who can find the fun in juggling a high volume workload.

No two days will ever be the same in this fairly hectic, yet incredibly rewarding role. Providing direct support to three key team members, as well as general support to the rest of the group, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Liaising with clients
  • Producing and distributing contracts
  • Data entry and database maintenance
  • Coordinating travel
  • Invoicing
  • Answering the telephone
  • Coordinating schedules and logistics
  • General administrative support, as required

In order to succeed in this role you must be an accomplished administrator who has had previous experience within events, travel or a similarly insane industry, with an ability to work independently and to manage and prioritise an incredibly diverse, constantly evolving workload.

You will have exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with impeccable attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Sound computer skills are also required, including previous experience working with a database.

A strong client service ethic is paramount, as is the ability to deal confidently with people at all levels. A sense of humour won't go astray either...

In return, our client is offering a commencement salary of up to $55K + Super, which will be based upon skills and experience.

Their office is located a very short bus trip from the CBD and there is local, street parking available at no cost.
