Daniel Grollo is Executive Chairman and sole owner of Grocon, Australia?s largest private property investment, development and construction company.

Daniel assumed the role of Executive Chairman in February 2014, having been Chief Executive Officer for the 14 years prior, as well as an Executive Director and member of the Grocon Board since 2000. In his role as Executive Chairman, Daniel continues to have strategic oversight of the business whilst also leading the company?s growth and diversification into new markets.

During his time as CEO, Daniel led Grocon to become an industry leader in safety, a global champion in the field of sustainable design and construction, as well as implementing a robust governance framework with the appointment of an independent Board of Directors and investing heavily in establishing the organisation?s strong values-based culture.

Daniel is a Non Executive Director of UBS Grocon Real Estate, Grocon?s joint venture investment and asset management platform with UBS Global Asset Management.

Daniel is also a Non Executive Director of Blue Scope Steel, former Chair, and a founding member, of the Green Building Council of Australia. and a former national President of the Property Council of Australia.

In December, 2013 Daniel was one of 12 business leaders appointed to the Australian Prime Minister?s Business Advisory Council.
