A designer, writer and speaker, and known for his stylish and classic interior designs, Darren Palmer is an established and well-regarded member of the design community.
 
Darren has a range of experience, having studied fine art and originally starting his career in advertising and owning his own graphic design company. After succumbing to his true passion, Darren now operates his interior design studio and has contributed to GQ Australia, Luxury Home Design, Renovate and Grand Designs Australia Magazine and also features as a judge on Channel 9's successful franchise "The Block".
 
He works primarily in residential design and has completed many beautiful projects over the years, with his work gracing the pages of Belle, Grand Designs Australia Magazine, Design Decoration Annual, Real Living and Renovate Magazine to name just a few.
 
Darren enjoys sharing his expertise and point of view and is regularly employed to speak about his experiences, including MC'ing the media launch and presenting a seminar at Decoration+Design 2012 as well as teaching the key points of adding value to property through design and hosting design sessions at Coco Republic Design School. Darren is also the face of myLJHooker - an extensive online property library.
 
With relationships with brands such as Carpet Court, Caesarstone, Nespresso, myLJhooker, Anomaly and Bunnings, Darren is an exciting ambassador, presenter and representative with a prestigious, aspirational positioning.

John Waters

John Waters is one of Australia's most recognised and respected film and theatre actors. Son of Scottish actor Russell Waters, John’s childhood was spent around film studios and appearing in minor roles. Arriving in Australia in 1968 he was cast in the US film Adam's Woman, landed the lead role of Claude in the 1969 production of rock musical, Hair alongside Marcia Hines, and later the role of Judas in Godspell. This quickly led to a flourishing career on stage, film, and television with ABC TV's Rush in 1974 earning him a Logie Award for Best New Talent, and quickly followed by films such as End Play, Summerfield, Breaker Morant, All the Rivers Run, Nancy Wake and Alice to Nowhere. From 1972 he hosted the children’s ABC program Play School for a decade, and regularly appeared until 1991, endearing him to generations.
