Emma's first appearance on TV was a successful one, it involved Larry Emdur and winning The Price is Right showcase.From the dizzy heights of the game show to Community TV Emma's next television role was hosting Dawn's Crack, a Saturday morning youth show on Channel 31, live from RMIT University in Melbourne.
A move to Sydney for a job with ABC TV saw Emma co-producing and co-presenting FLY TV's Flicktalk, a role that required her to research, write, interview, present and edit stories and reviews for the show and its website. Her work on Fly TV was instrumental in her landing the key reporting role for Network Ten's ratings blockbuster, Inside Australian Idol, where she took viewers behind the scenes. The role demonstrated Emma's warmth, easy rapport and sense of fun ... and was a massive ratings success.
Emma's work was noticed by the Seven Network who cast her in a number of pilots and as a panelist on light-hearted Sport talk panel show 110% Tony Squires.Emma has also reported for Coxy's Big Break and Showtime Movie News where amongst other things she interviewed the three lead actresses from Charlie's Angels.
Emma is currently honing her TV hosting skills on The Breakfast Show weekday from 7.30 to 8.30am on Channel 31. The Sunday Age quoted the show and its hosts "Emma Race, Declan Fay and Justin Kennedy look poised for greatness".
Afraid of nothing, Emma's most recent venture is to try her hand at stand up.
