Ezio Mormile is a globally recognised High Performance Coach, keynote speaker and co-author of the best-selling book The High Performing Corporate Athlete, and the creator of the Corporate Athlete Leadership Model (CA8), a practical, research-informed framework that blends performance psychology, coaching science and lived experience from elite sport and complex enterprise environments. His model has been adopted by leaders across ASX-listed and global organisations to build resilience, elevate leadership capability and drive sustained performance under pressure.
Ezio has spent decades inside elite sport, working from boardroom to locker room with coaches and players across the English Premier League, the Matildas, UCI World Champion cyclists and other international championship-winning programs. In environments where performance is public, margins are tight and pressure is relentless, he has helped leaders build cultures of accountability, emotional agility and trust.
In parallel, Ezio has worked for more than twenty years across corporate and government sectors, delivering leadership and sales transformation programs for organisations including Amazon, Cisco, Telstra, SES NSW and CPA Australia. Trusted by global advisory firms to facilitate enterprise-level programs, he brings rare insight into what is working inside high-performing organisations today. His work is not theoretical, it is real, recent and directly drawn from the front lines of performance.
Known for his energetic and grounded style, Ezio equips audiences with practical tools, frameworks and language that can be applied immediately, at work and at home (on and off the field). Central to his message are what he calls the "F and C" words of high performance: Focus, Fear of Failure, Feedback, Fatigue and Fun; Consistency, Communication, Change, Competency and Challenged. These principles translate elite sporting habits into daily disciplines for leaders and teams.
At a personal level, Ezio lives what he teaches. For over 30 years he has kept a daily journal, longer than many of the athletes he works with have been alive, and in 1996 he wrote his own eulogy, which he still reviews weekly as a discipline of purpose and perspective. With a background in psychology from Charles Sturt University and as a father of five (which he raised with his wife), he understands that performance is not just about output, but about energy, identity, relationships and meaning. He also understands the reality of life 'on and off the field'.
Ezio's message is simple: we are all Corporate Athletes. The question is not whether you are in the arena, it is whether you are training for it. His mission is to help leaders and teams build the discipline, resilience and mindset required to perform when it matters most with the tools and concepts used by elite athletes, and to make this their season to shine.
