Specialty Areas

Glenn A Baker occupies a unique niche in Australian entertainment. Music expert, intrepid traveller, radio and television presenter, best-selling author and effusive enthusiast; his face and voice have become extremely familiar over the past fifteen years. His capacity to elucidate upon his favourite topics, with accuracy and humour, has been likened to "talking under wet cement". His unique knowledge, similar to that of Bill Collins or Don Burke, has given him a rare level of credibility in a notoriously ephemeral area.

Glenn displayed the breadth of his talents by appearing simultaneously as the travel presenter on Good Morning Australia and the resident judge on Starsearch. He was shortlisted for a Raward for his nationally syndicated 2MMM-FM radio show, Back to the Future, (on air for four years) and was profiled by both A Current Affair and The Australian magazine. He was travel presenter on The Midday Show and was profiled on Burke's Backyard.

Driven by exceptional energy, Glenn A Baker - BBC's Rock Brain of the Universe - has travelled the world (65 countries); annotated and/or compiled over 350 anthology albums; scripted radio specials and television documentaries; been a stage presenter for the ARIA and AMA Awards and the Legends of Rock tour; has been senior judge for twelve years at the Rock Eisteddfod; operates a record label, archive service and large Sydney retail emporium - Time Warp; and still has time to be the father of six children!!

Without question, there is nobody quite like him.
