Each weeknight Janice presents SBS World News at 6.30pm.

Janice brings to SBS a solid background in journalism after many years at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation where she reported on and covered breaking news events right across Australia.

In her current role, she regularly interviews leading newsmakers from world leaders to celebrities and has contributed live reports and updates on major national and international news stories.

The stylish mother of two has been included in lists of influential people, including Media Week’s Top 25 Media People 2017, Harper’s Bazaar’s “Fabulous at Every Age” feature and “Who’s Who” biological reference of notable Australians.

She has also hosted numerous high profile events, including the Australia Day Lunch, Vogue Codes and featured as a presenter at The Walkley Journalism Awards.

Janice is the voice of SBS Chill and can be heard hosting the show onboard Qantas.

John Waters

John Waters is one of Australia's most recognised and respected film and theatre actors. Son of Scottish actor Russell Waters, John’s childhood was spent around film studios and appearing in minor roles.
