John draws on more than 30 years experience in a diverse range of areas, including 'hands on' experience of establishing and managing a medium sized professional services firm. He brings to his clients a deep understanding of their needs and the challenges they face in today's rapidly changing world.

John believes in workplaces where individuals have a strong sense of purpose and meaning - a place where they can perform at their best, learn and grow and make a positive contribution. Drawing on a range of disciplines, including neuroscience, positive psychology, mindfulness, appreciative process and action learning John works with senior executive leaders and their teams to deliver their potential and create those workplaces.

John is a certified World Institute of Action Learning senior coach and coach trainer. He uses action learning as a key process to accelerate performance and create true 'learning' organisations.

As a very experienced mediator John is often engaged by clients to assess the underlying causes of organisational conflict and to recommend and implement appropriate interventions. He has developed a Conflict Action Learning model which is designed to resolve conflict and assist parties learn from their experience to avoid 'repeating history'.

In learning and development John designs and delivers integrated programs for a wide range of public and private sector clients. He also designs specific programs to support the implementation of change programs. Examples of recent programs include:

John Waters

John Waters is one of Australia's most recognised and respected film and theatre actors. Son of Scottish actor Russell Waters, John’s childhood was spent around film studios and appearing in minor roles. Arriving in Australia in 1968 he was cast in the US film Adam's Woman, landed the lead role of Claude in the 1969 production of rock musical, Hair alongside Marcia Hines, and later the role of Judas in Godspell. This quickly led to a flourishing career on stage, film, and television with ABC TV's Rush in 1974 earning him a Logie Award for Best New Talent, and quickly followed by films such as End Play, Summerfield, Breaker Morant, All the Rivers Run, Nancy Wake and Alice to Nowhere. From 1972 he hosted the children’s ABC program Play School for a decade, and regularly appeared until 1991, endearing him to generations.
