Luc is a digital native and he has a strong understanding of the male consumer, the digital landscape, luxury brands and how content can influence consumers to connect with brands.

Having begun his career as a self-taught web designer, he worked for a number of top Melbourne advertising agencies when the internet was in its infancy. As the industry evolved Luc did away with design, making the leap to strategic thinking andworking with brands to maximise the effectiveness of online. Along the way Luc maintained a healthy obsession with side projects and hobbies which would eventually lead him to starting D’Marge (dmarge.com) in 2012.

After juggling two jobs for two years and working every morning and evening on D’Marge, he made the jump across. Surviving on baked beans and leftovers for 12 months, D’Marge eventually landed its first major client. It was game on. D’Marge is now one of the largest and most respected men’s online platforms in Australia. With clients that included OMEGA, Nike, Mercedes-Benz, IWC, Gucci and many more high profile international brands.

D’Marge not only develops advertising campaigns for these leading brands but helped paved the way for luxury brands entering the content space in Australia. With staff in Sydney, New York and London D’Marge has grown to over 1 million monthly readers in three years.
