Lynette Simons has been a print, radio and television journalist for The Sydney Morning Herald, the ABC and SBS. She currently runs workshops in Media Management and Conflict Resolution in the public and private sector and teaches Passion Peace and Poetry at Sydney University's Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies.
As Training Manager for SBS for 10 years, Lynette gained specialist expertise in dealing with a wide range of sensitive cross-cultural issues. She conducted conflict resolution workshops across the organisation and was frequently called upon to mediate in interpersonal disputes. She also taught Journalism, Ethics and Standards and Interviewing Skills to radio journalists who were broadcasting in more than 60 languages.

Lynette's qualifications include the MBA in Human Resource Management, a Diploma in Second Language Teaching and the Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training.

As a presenter, Lynette brings life and humour into a room and enjoys drawing upon the insights and experiences of her audiences.
