Mark Britt recently took the helm of the ninemsn group of companies. Mark runs all ninemsn activities across Australia and New Zealand including; ninemsn, Windows Live, Bing, Cudo and investments in iSelect and RateCity.
Mark has a wealth of executive and commercial experience in online, advertising and consumer technology fields and the Australian, European and Asia-Pacific markets. He is an established leader and has an impressive track record in identifying breakthrough business opportunities, executing high profile joint ventures and pioneering transformational partnerships in digital.
Mark is passionate about the vision of combining old and new media, and is a true believer in the opportunity for data and technology to create amazing new content experiences and deliver effective advertising results for clients and users.
At Microsoft, Mark was responsible for expansion strategies into India, China, Japan, and Korea. He pioneered the partnering model of bringing traditional media asset online, establishing partnerships in Singapore (xinmsn) Korea (joinsmsn), Malaysia (CatchaMedia) and Indonesia.
Mark's career began as a solicitor for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, which then launched him into Europe where he worked with NASDAQ listed ISP, PeoplePC. From there was elevated to Commercial Manager for Vizzavi in the UK, before progressing to his senior leadership roles at both ninemsn and Microsoft (Singapore).
