Educated in Germany with an Economics Degree from Cologne University and a MBA from UTS, Matthew has 24 years of Marketing and Advertising experience - as product manager for the Mars Group in Australia, Account Director with Grey Advertising and with DDB Needham where he was instrumental in launching several multi award-winning campaigns. These include "Aussie kids are Weetbix kids" Cotties cordial "My Dad picks the fruit", "All Dai Everydai Hyundai" and many more.
Amongst many awards including 3 Cannes lions, Matthew has twice received the prestigious Pinnacle award for outstanding creative solutions. As a director and major shareholder of Adventure Connection Australia, over 6 years Matthew created one of the most outstanding tourism products in the far north region of Australia. At UTS Matthew teaches Advertising Practice, Strategic Advertising as well as Advertising Creative Strategies. Matthew Is currently completing his PHD on Idea generation.
