Over the past five years Magic2 have developed an exciting performance style that is spectacularly entertaining. Magic2 are an innovative professional illusion act with a depth and style that is totally unique, making them highly sought after in Australia and Asia.

Michael Boyd has been a professional magician since early childhood. As a third generation magician, Michael has a strong theatrical background and a profound understanding of all aspects of magic.

Cathie Costello, with her history in fashion design brings professional costuming and stage setting to Magic2. Cathie, an advanced student of dance and theatre compliments Michael's strong creative and dramatic abilities.

Together, they have created an act of international standard; they have taken the art of illusion to new heights by blending the traditions of magic with their own unique style of performance.

Their performance spectrum ranges from close up magic to full illusion production shows.

Since this illusion duo created their act, they have been in constant demand throughout Australia and overseas, where they perform in production shows and major corporate events.

John Waters

John Waters is one of Australia's most recognised and respected film and theatre actors. Son of Scottish actor Russell Waters, John’s childhood was spent around film studios and appearing in minor roles. Arriving in Australia in 1968 he was cast in the US film Adam's Woman, landed the lead role of Claude in the 1969 production of rock musical, Hair alongside Marcia Hines, and later the role of Judas in Godspell.
