Mick began performing his strange and unique no-frills brand of comedy anywhere that would have him. With a truckload of one-liners, bizzare observations and a guitar, he will turn any willing grown-up crowd into a bunch of giggling school kids.
Tragic tales of married life, scary experiences in parenthood and the ultimate survival in the western suburbs are just some of the topics he twists and bends onstage. Add in an unmeasured cup of song parody, music mayhem and you have the Mick Meredith comedy buffet.
Mick served his stage apprenticeship for a decade and a half as a bass player and singer for underground Sydney rock bands such as The Moles, The Hillarys and Plug Uglies and then 5 years as a clown and magician at kid's parties. He quickly realized that the adults were laughing harder than the kids so decided to make his comedy debut at the legendary Harold Park Hotel.
Having worked with the likes of Phil Cass, Anh Do, Adam Hills, Chris 'The Bloke' Franklin, Greg Fleet, James O'Loughlin, Sarah Kendall, George Smilovici, Garry Who, Peter Rowsthorn (Kath & Kim) and many more Mick has gone on to be one of the strong Headline acts on the Sydney Comedy Circuit taking his total entertainment package to the rest of Australia and beyond.
