One of Australia's most consistently successful players over the last twenty years. Since winning the South Australian Open back in 1979, Peter has plied his trade all overthe world with tournament victories in Australia, Japan and Europe. In a remarkable testament to the quality and consistency of his play he has been only been outside the top-ten on the Australasian Order of Merit three times since 1991.

In 2003 he further demonstrated the quality of his game by winning the Australian PGA Championship at the Hyatt Coolum Resort overcoming a very strong field in the process to complete one of the great stories in recent times on the Australasian Tour.

Peter has recorded 26 tournament victories, winning four titles in Europe, three in Japan and 18 in Australia. In 1989 he enjoyed a golden period winning the Australian PGA Championship, Australian Open and Johnnie Walker Classic in the course of five weeks.

Away from tournament play Peter enjoys spending time with his family and relaxing on his boat called 'Broomstick'-a legacy of Sam Torrance converting him to the broom handle model when his career was threatened by putting problems!

Peter has a tremendous ambassador for golf in this country and in December 2006 was elected Chairman of the PGA Tour of Australalasia. Healso hosts an annual Pro-Am to raise funds for the Cancer Research Unit at the Royal Brisbane Children's Hospital.
