Roy Larke has more than 20 years of experience working in Japan both as an academic and consultant. Currently, Mr. Larke is based in Tokyo, working as Professor of International Marketing and Japanese Business at Rikkyo University. Rikkyo is the eighth ranked private university in the country, but the recently opened College of Business ranked third in its first year. He is also a leading retail and consumer goods consultant in Japan, and act as editor of the JapanConsuming Report. JapanConsuming provides a comprehensive guide to the Japanese distribution market for overseas consumer goods companies. His research covers consumer behaviour, retail strategy, and market entry strategy, all with particular reference to Japan.
