Sami graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Business Communication, majoring in Film and Television, and a minor in Journalism. In her final year, Sami was awarded the Federation of Radio Broadcasters Prize for the most outstanding student in Broadcast Journalism.

In recent years Sami has been a part of on the Nine Network's 'TODAY' show as the weather presenter as well as hosting a regular health and fitness segment. Between 1995 and 1997 she often appeared on 'Good Morning Australia', 'Inside Sport', 'Monday to Friday', 'Bright Ideas', 'Ernie and Denise', 'At Home with John Mangos' and 'Info Peak', presenting advertorials.

Sami Lukis has the capacity to raise awareness, generate sales and deliver profile to companies and products with which she is associated.
