It's team building cleverly disguised as a rock concert!

Song Division is a first-of-its-kind global teambuilding company, working with groups of all sizes to build energy, reinforce key company messaging, and enhance creative thinking through collaborative songwriting sessions.

The company specializes in conference energizers, incentives, team building, gala dinners/awards, fundraisers and experiential marketing campaigns.

Using Song Division's global propriety process, teams will be supported by world class musicians (who've played with artists as diverse as Jimmy Barnes, David Bowie, Silverchair and Sheryl Crow), to write completely original songs from scratch.  Nothing is 'pre-baked' - every part of the song, including all the music and lyrics, will be created on the spot by the participants.  But noone has to be musical at all (as we take care of that) they just have to collaborate and get creative as the songwriting process requires.

Working with 3 - 3000 people in any location (from conference rooms to recording studios) Song Division will have teams writing songs (a corporate anthem perhaps!) which will resonate for a long time to come.

Song Division is a worldwide operation and clients include global brands and multinational companies such as Coca-Cola, Microsoft, PwC, Roche, Virgin and the British Government, as well as industry groups such as Meeting Planners International (MPI) and non-profits such as The Salvation Army and The Cerebral Palsy Alliance.

From 20 minutes to 4 hours, Song Division can open or close a conference with some interactive rock n roll or can help teams compete in a 'battle of the bands'.  They can even have your team in hysterics in a Rockwiz style Game Show.  Sessions are tailored to your needs.

As an added feature on all service options, Song Division's musicians can double as the band at the evening's gala event saving you money and hassle.

Song Division sessions are both entertaining and practical, teaching critical problem solving and communication skills, and enhancing performance in any organization. Music is a powerful device that creates emotional connections to specific people, events and moments. By writing songs about event objectives, participants form closer emotional connections to the organization, brand, and of course, each other.

At the heart of the Song Division method is a singular drive to share the thrills and benefits of songwriting, using the best professional musicians and the company's pioneering and constantly evolving process.

Cas is an Aussie Explorer constantly pushing the boundaries of human endurance.

Most recently, on the 26th January 2012, he made history by completing the longest unsupportedpolar expedition of all time, alongside his best mate, Jonesy. In 100 years of polar exploration no-one had EVER walked from the edge of Antarctica to the South Pole and back without assistance. Many had tried, none had succeeded. After 89 gruelling days they made it back to the coast after having skied 2275km with everything they needed to survive in the harshest environment on Earth.

Justin Jones (or other wise affectionately known as Jonesy) is one of Australia’s premier motivational speakers and extreme adventurers. Ciaran Gribbin

From the war-torn streets of Northern Island to reaching the pinnacle of pop music as the lead singer of INXS, Australian-based Ciaran Gribbin is now finding favour as a keynote conference speaker with an inspirational story to tell. His journey from a young boy growing up in a bitterly divided society in North Ireland, to falling in love with a girl from the wrong side of the conflict, and then following his dream to make it in the cut-throat music world is a captivating story and one that is now capturing the attention of corporate event planners.

Ben Pettingill

Imagine waking up blind. One moment you can see, and in the next moment, your vision is made up only of childhood memories. At the tender age of 16, this became a reality for Ben Pettingill when overnight he lost 98% of his eyesight to a rare genetic syndrome, Lebers Hereditary Optic Neuropathy. While the shock, then grief of losing one's eyesight cannot be discounted, once Ben processed his new reality he realised that he had to make a choice that would define the rest of his life. Ben believed that a blind man could see, and his miracle was the activation of ‘True Vision' and 'Limitless Vision'. Vision enabled through purpose, perception and empowered decision making.

A massive thank you to you both for all your assistance from selecting to co-ordinating the speakers for our annual ProLoan conference. Feedback was that this year’s speakers where the best they had EVER heard at ANY event. So this is pretty amazing, because they do go to a lot of sessions like these.

I would recommend, without hesitation, the services of Jane Rowland Smith and Ovations. Jane answered a last minute call to arrange a guest speaker for our principals. Nothing was too much effort, all was arranged within hours, and went very smoothly. The guest speaker was exactly what we required and our brief was followed. Thank you Jane and the team at Ovations.

Executive Assistant BSCAA NSW Division

Jane, I personally want to thank you for all of your support, advice, patience and all round kindness that you have given me over the last 3 or so years.  This event would not have been as successful without the valuable MC’s you have recommended and the support you provided me when it all just seemed too hard
