AMPLIFY YOUR INFLUENCE
Ten years as a professional speaker, twenty years as a leadership trainer and a working lifetime as a manager and salesman of products, services and ideas gave Terry a lot of experience and success in positively influencing the lives of others. His book 'THE GUIDE: How to kiss, get a job & other stuff you need to know' was acclaimed as a platform for people to reach the young people in their lives that they wanted to influence for the better. With the book still flying off the shelves, audiences are demanding not just influential content but content about influencing. How can anyone increase their influence over others? Given that demand, that content is what Terry is delivering.
Terry delivers frontline leadership training and strategic planning with some of New Zealand's largest retailers. His title is Business Navigator which reflects his approach - trainees often already have the answers; what they're missing is the ability to move in the same direction, the right direction.
Before starting his companies, Terry worked in the financial services, gaming, telecommunications and local government sectors in training as well as operational and customer service management. Being a manager and business owner enabled him to have a greater involvement in broader organizational development but you'll see the spark of passion in him when he's in front of the room helping learners learn and, even more importantly, transferring that learning into practical, tangible and measurable results in the workplace.
Terry's point of difference as a speaker is that, in addition to his business experience and knowledge, he has also been a professional stand-up comedian for ten years. Often he's entertaining or hosting corporate events and conferences for clients such as Sony, Mercedes and even the All Blacks. Consequently Terry's business presentations are engaging. Appropriate fun reinforces the learning.
Terry Williams trains, speaks and facilitates across the Asia-Pacific region and is based in Auckland, New Zealand. He has two teenage children and challenges himself to do two dangerous things a year. (That's how he got into stand-up comedy.)

Terry is a very engaging speaker who presents with passion, humor and a mischievous streak. He clearly knows his subject but much more importantly he is able to impart his knowledge and connects with the audience. He leaves you not just inspired to take action but with the information and tools to do so. Terry’s presentations were interesting, funny, thought-provoking and educational. Many of our delegates gave him two-thumbs up for his session and have asked to hear him speak again next year.

Terry’s session as Keynote Speaker finished our conference on the ‘high’ that we were looking for. His very humorous session gave us skills to apply not only in our businesses but also in our personal lives.

Terry added so much value to my event. He was able to read the mood of the crowd well and ensured that the evening flowed to plan. I knew that by bringing Terry into the mix that the event was guaranteed to be a success and I went into the evening knowing that the event was in a safe pair of hands.
