He is the Founder of City Innovate, a smart city accelerator bridging startups, governments and corporations to create tactical solutions with scalability. He was the Strategic Partnerships lead at Waymo/Google X, building partnerships to commercialize and scale Moonshot companies while being fully immersed in artificial intelligence and machine learning with the world's most experienced automated vehicle technologies.
Other experience includes Chief Innovation Officer for San Francisco’s transportation agency, leading the City’s USDOT Smart City Challenge, the agency’s Strategic Work Plan that met its 50% private auto/50% sustainable mode share goal 3 years early, major land redevelopment value capture projects and leading the Mayor’s Vision Zero traffic safety program.
