As the Country Manager for New Zealand Tony Keusgen is responsible for Google's sales and business development operations. He started at Google as National Sales Manager, Technology for Australia and New Zealand and was then promoted to Head of Technology (AU/NZ). Tony worked previously at Optus/SingTel where he was Sales and Marketing Manager for IT systems integrator - Alphawest Services and prior to this was National Manager - Channel Business at Optus. Before joining SingTel/Optus Tony held sales management roles at Macquarie Telecom and Merck Pharmaceuticals. Tony holds a degree in Applied Science from RMIT in Melbourne.

Online advertising in Australia, and particularly search marketing, continues to grow very strongly as advertisers realise the successful results, transparency and measurability it provides. Tony brings tremendous experience and insight in relation to technology marketing practices and is helping technology businesses take full advantage of the enormous opportunities that exist for all marketers.
