Warwick Merry is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), twice Certified Virtual Presenter (CVP) and was recently awarded the Global Outstanding Intrapreneur award for his work in raising the skills and quality of online presenting among the professional speaking industry. With over 20 years working as a Speaker and Event Host/MC (and presenting online since 2014) he knows what it takes to truly engage an audience, no matter what the modality.

With a background in radio, improv and music, Warwick is not afraid to do whatever it takes to ensure your delegates are entertained as they learn and remain focused on your business outcomes. Wanting a character for your Gala Dinner? Not a problem. From Elvis to Dame Edna, anything is possible.

The way he plays with the audience and keeps things fresh means that people don't know what will happen next, and they feel good about that. Event organisers often comment that they feel their event is in good hands. One multiple award-winning conference organiser said, “Oh Warwick is MCing this. Great, I don't have to worry about that then.”

While he shines as an MC, Warwick also is a fantastic speaker. Many of his clients will hire him for both duties. He adds a burst of energy in your event while remaining focused on your outcome.

His clients include NAB, Lotterywest, Air New Zealand, AMTIL, RACGP, and multiple associations. Warwick will work with you to ensure you get the outcome you are after all while making your event memorable.

How would you like your event to be remembered?

Resignation-Proofing your Business

The secrets to keeping your team engaged, happy and productive.

Post the pandemic, the next business issue is The Great Resignation. How do we keep our team? How do we keep them happy regardless of what is happening around them? How do we keep them engaged in what can be stressful and unknown environments? Often some simple shifts in an organisations approach are all that is needed.

In this high energy and fast-paced presentation, Warwick looks at:

  • Ways to stay inspired when things get tough
  • How having fun improves productivity (and simple ways to do that)
  • Five ways to maintain your energy in a sustainable manner
  • How to use technology to maintain your focus and not be a distraction
  • Why focussing beyond your work makes your work more enjoyable and successful

Audiences will leave this in-person or virtual presentation armed with a practical action plan for achieving a new level of momentum and maintaining it over the long haul.

Your delegates will leave this presentation (which can be delivered virtual or face to face) with their own personal action plan to help them achieve more enjoyment and productivity in their workplace as well as improve their sense of self.

Engaging with People - Regardless of Modality

The secrets to effective communication - no matter the message.

We don’t need more emails, we don’t need more chat messages, and for the love of all that is holy, please don’t organise another Zoom and invite everyone just because you can!

In the digital age we have confused quality for quantity. There is too much communication that we simply do not need. Meetings that could have been an email. Emails that could have been a phone call, and phone calls we clearly did not need to receive.

So how do we engage with people? How do we know the right modality? How does it change if you are in person, on the phone or on Teams or Zoom?
In this fun, practical and idea laden presentation, Warwick looks at:

  • The core elements of effective communication
  • Differences for Online, Phone and Face to Face communication
  • The art and practice of saying “No”
  • Why Less is More
  • What is Engagement and how you know you have it
  • How and Why to flex your communication approach

Your delegates will leave this in-person or virtual presentation feeling energised and with their own personal to-do list that will increase their engagement with their team, their family and those around them.
